Pulp is so far behind me now, I can barely see it in the rearview, where objects from my recent past truly are smaller than they appear.
Time has nearly come for me to segue Borough 6 into the site it was intended to be — a reliable source of news, information and entertainment.
The road to that destination was rocky, for sure, but our lives are richer for the experience. Plenty of lessons were learned, plenty of friends were made — but, more importantly, some critical relationships were rekindled.
Our lives are richer for you, and you, and you and you (You know who you are.). These are bonds that will NEVER be severed again.
New bonds are being formed, and strengthened, every day — from the Englewood boat basin to Liberty State Park, as well as on the other side of the Palisades, stretching to the Meadowlands.
I grew up in these towns — Cliffside, North Bergen, Jersey City, and, now, on the Hudson in West New York. I care about the area and the people. I want what I’m doing to matter in some way.
It’s why I got into media in the first place.
I’m proud that I exposed wrongdoing, put bad guys in prison and won national investigative journalism awards. I’m grateful for a crime and courts team that, among its accomplishments, forced an Attorney General from office (does anyone remember Zulima Farber?).
I’m also glad I significantly increased website traffic at an area newspaper, just to prove I could do it.
This is a whole other kilobyte — and not of phish.
I’m after breaking news, true news, with perspective and context, based on reliable sources and boosted by years of experience. No assumptions, affiliations or agendas. No “exposes.” Just the facts.
I’m after your trust, your belief in my ability to get what you want to know when you want to know it. And I’m after your loyalty, cause I intend to return it to you in spades.
Journalists are welcome to use the information contained on this site as long as they credit Borough 6. I don’t mean to be a hardhead about it, but online is no longer free range. Break the rules, and you can expect to hear from the crack legal team.
