Sure, there’s the game itself:
The purity of the lines and the rules;
The Elysian fields;
The music that is the crack of ash colliding with cowhide;
The amazing, split-second plays;
The bonds we build with loved one and friends;
The passionate connection we feel to OUR team;
The admiration that grows for the players.
For me, there are also some very special moments, fleeting instances that would be gone forever if not for a DVR and a digital camera.
Moments like that.
